Work > Smoke Screens

Smoke Screens presents forward facing portraits taken at a pivotal or temporal moment. This series draws from magic’s employment of smoke in signaling the moment at which change is occurring or as a distraction from where change is happening. The portraits simultaneously present truth and trick by transposing the original photograph through smoke.
